Two Nigeria Rowers Qualifies for 2018 Youth Olympic Games

It was published on 16 April 2018 that the Nigeria Rowing Canoe and Sailing Federation disclosed that two of its athletes have qualified for the youth Olympic Games (YOG) that would hold in October.

The secretary stated that the athlete’s qualification was through the World Canoe championship that was held in Barcelona; which was what served as qualification for the games. He went further to say that Blessing Amusar qualified for women’s Kayak while Ayomide Bello qualified for the women’s canoe event at the qualification championship, which was held from April 6 to April 15.
